If you ever find yourself looking for a fun, out of the norm, activity for you and your girlfriends, you’ve come to the right place. I recently had the pleasure of attending a “Braid Workshop” hosted by my friends Gaby, of The Vault Files, and Aylin, of Cabello by Carolina, and it was honestly one of the very best ways to spend a morning. We sipped on freshly squeezed juice and nibbled on chocolate laden muffins, all while learning how to tackle a handful of Pinterest-worthy hairstyles. Bonus: we all left with a favour-like box filled to the brim with goodies so that we could *attempt* to replicate said hairstyles at home.
During this particularly busy season of life, it was so wonderful to slow down and catch up with a group of women who I hold in such high esteem – all while partaking in an activity wonderfully reminiscent of a third-grade sleepover. In true Gaby and Aylin fashion, there was absolutely no detail left unthought of, and I have the visuals (captured by the incredible Heidi Lau) to prove it. So if you’re ever looking for a fun, out of the box, activity with your nearest and dearest, this may be a good place to start.
Thank you, again, to Gaby and Aylin for an incredible event. And I highly encourage you to organize one for your nearest and dearest – it really was the best way to spend a morning.
