Scenes from my Week

Despite how it may look on social media more often than not, it isn’t always sunshine and rainbows behind the scenes. I know first hand that, often, my role as an “influencer”* is the inspire and uplift. Meaning I don’t typically get into the nitty gritty of every day life and instead like to focus on the little bites of sunshine as much as physically possible. But this week? Well, it really and truly was an incredible one from beginning to end. The newest issue of Style at Home landed on my doorstep, and not only is one of my projects featured in a multi-page spread**, but I’m also listed as one of Canada’s “National Treasures”. I don’t even know where to begin with that one – I’ve been struggling to find words ever since… I’m incredibly honoured and insanely humbled (and all of your sweet notes have been next level incredible). 

In addition to that sweet surprise, Justin and I are headed to the beach for an entire week of rest and relaxation as we witness some of our dearest friends say I do. It’ll be a little quiet around here next week, but I’m sure I’ll be active over on Instagram if you’d like to follow along while we’re away.
