retail therapy: Joan’s on Third

If I were a shop, this is what I’d (hope to) look like. If there’s anything I appreciate as much as I do design its food – particularly: good food, if I’m being honest. And when the two commingle – well you can probably just imagine the grin on my face. Joan’s on Third, a stunning food boutique located in Los Angeles, has seamlessly joined my two favourites into one cohesive unit. Within its walls you’ll find a cheese shop, a gelato stop and a bakery, not to mention sweet little dining areas encouraging you to sit and stay a while. It’s probably in my best interest that this doesn’t exist in Toronto for I would be hard pressed to ever leave.
