Okay you guys, I’ve been keeping a bit of a secret for literally months now and I can finally (FINALLY!!) spill the beans… While I was in the midst of designing Ivy’s nursery, Loomy reached out to see if I’d be interested in collaborating on a rug design. Obviously I jumped at the chance (it was a resounding heck yes), and we spent the next couple of months designing one specifically for our sweet girl.
The best part? It’s available for purchase to the masses. I am obviously biased, but I poured my heart and soul into it and it is a work of pure love. With a vintage meets whimsical vibe, it’s made of sheep’s wool which has been artfully hand spun into yarn, dyed and dried in the sun, and woven on a loom by skilled artisans. It’s an all looped pile, so it’s super durable, and it’s as soft as butter (which was super important to me). It’s an heirloom piece that will easily grow with her as she does.
You can officially purchase one for yourself, if you so please, right here. And if you use the code LARKANDLINEN at checkout you’ll get 15% off. Here’s a peek at the original inspiration, and the first rug sample I got my hands on months ago (I may or may not have cried). And stay tuned later this week where I’ll be sharing every last photo of her space, so you can really see it in action.
