Our sweet girl, Ivy James, arrived fast and furiously on April 8th under the full pink super moon. Weighing in at 8 lbs. 1 Oz., and 20” long, she instantly changed our lives for the better. The past week and a half has been a whirlwind of baby snuggles, late nights, adorable coos, and only one (okay maybe two) meltdowns over the fact that she’s already changed so much since she entered our lives.
Our world has been full of more love than we ever thought humanly possible, yet somehow still seems to grow exponentially by the hour. Needless to say, we are over the moon, and beaming with pride to finally share our news.

Well done, Mama. While I know both scenarios have benefits the other doesn’t, I’m secretly jealous all the new Mama’s who get this time together in isolation with their newborns. It really does go by so unbelievably fast (and then continues to gather speed it seems, as the years go on!), and having these moments to bond and figure eachother out is such a silver lining.
