I’ve been not so subtly stalking Athena Calderone for years now (as evidence here), so when I heard her new home was featured in Architectural Digest it was all I could do to not stop everything I was doing at that instant to track down a copy. Knowing full well that my expectations were sky high and anticipating potentially feeling let down, I’m pleased to say that wasn’t the case (not even a little). It’s stunning, to nobody’s surprise. But what I think I love the very most is it somehow feels completely current, yet utterly timeless.
