In light of full discretion, I actually pulled this cocktail together for a sponsored Instagram post with Kim Crawford wines, but it was so damn good that I instantly knew it needed to live on my blog as well. As I age I find myself getting away from the sweeter cocktails, and have found myself drawn to those with more depth of flavour. This one, with notes of blackberry and blackcurrant, topped with a hint of honey and a dash of cinnamon, is a bit of a cocktail game changer. It’s not too sweet, it’s not too smokey, it’s literal perfection in every sense of the word and I know with confidence we’ll be making it with regularity around here going forward.
