Grapefruit Smoothie Bowls

Grapefruit Smoothie Bowl | lark & linen

I actually don’t believe in diets as they literally go against every fibre of my being, but over the last couple of years Justin and I have gotten into some pretty terrible habits. And with our wedding coming up in a few short months, we knew that now would be as good of a time as ever to get back on track. When it comes down to it, we’re working out 5 times a week, and have simply been encouraging one another other to make smarter choices throughout the week. To make us feel like we aren’t missing out on anything, we’re allowing ourselves a bit of a “cheat day” one day each weekend – because mini egg milkshakes are essential every now and again. We’ve since discovered some really incredible healthy recipes – like these grapefruit smoothie bowls – which have helped made the transition SO much easier. We feel better, our skin is clearer, our pants are a little less snug… It’s been wonderful all around, and I feel like the whole thing is super sustainable –  something that I hope we’ll both continue to do well after our wedding,

  1. My dad is a major grapefruit fan. I’m going to share this recipe with him because I know this will easily become his go-to breakfast.

    Happy Thursday!

Thanks for sharing honestly I’ve never thought of grapefruit as a fruit for a smoothie but now I do.
