There isn’t much that makes my heart swell more than seeing my fellow colleagues, and local talent, get some well deserved recognition. When I picked up the Style at Home article that featured my latest project reveal, I was tickled to be listed alongside this beautiful Brooklyn-based brownstone. I knew, prior to peeking at the credits, that it was designed by my friend Christine Dovey. I mean, you know when a project has been touched by Mrs. Dovey. The woman has talent seeping out of her pores, and this sweet main floor reno is a prime example. Soaring high ceilings, unique art, and unexpected patterns, prints, and fabrics are the name of the game, and it’s beauty embodied if I do say so myself.

That chandelier is gorgeous. But a bench? So horrible to have to sit on.
I actually think a bench is a really practical solution, especially if you need to save space (and want to squeeze lots of people around the table on occasion)
Agree on the bench–think it would be practical, especially if you have company over a lot.
Totally!
The chairs in the dining area are amazing x
