{shopping at Lovers Land}
Last Saturday, after a truly perfect day filled with dress shopping, pho eating, ice cream sandwich ingesting, movie watching fun, I emerged from the theatre only to discover that my new bike had been stolen. At first I felt incredibly sad, and weirdly violated. As tears began to swell, I quickly decided that whoever took my bike was absolutely NOT entitled to ruin an otherwise wonderful day – and that realization was one that carried me through the rest of this week. I know that losing a bike is nothing in the grand scheme of things, but I really am learning that life is not about what happens to us, but how we react to it. I fully subscribe to the law of attraction, the power of positive thinking, and in my 29 years on this planet so far, this mentality has worked in my favour. I hope whoever has my bike is enjoying it as much as I did – and I’ve been making an effort to send them positive vibes over the last few days. I mean, unless it was a drunken teenager up to no good, there’s a very good chance that whoever committed the crime needs some love (and guidance), you know? As always, here’s a peek at the rest of a beautiful week.
