My cousin Danielle and I were born 6 months apart and have been virtually inseparable ever since. We are polar opposites in every way possible; physically, mentally, emotionally… And yet, she is my favourite person in the entire world. She has always been my rock – my voice of reason – even when we butt heads on the regular. At the risk of sounding totally cheesy, she’s the the yin to my yang and I simply couldn’t do life without her. In just a few short weeks, she’ll be walking down the aisle. So this weekend we’re off to Miami to celebrate her upcoming nuptials in true Danielle style. There’s a solid chance I won’t make it out alive (in contrast to the homebody/grandmother I tend to be, she’s a bit of a wild one), but I have no doubt it’s going to be the weekend of a lifetime. I’m pumped (and equally terrified)!
