Happy New Years Eve Lark & Linen readers! Melissa here from Yours Truly and I couldn’t be more excited that Jacquelyn asked me to do a guest post on this most sparkly, festive day while she’s on her South African getaway. So, the countdown to confetti and kisses is mere hours away (eee! I love NYE) If you’re hosting a fab little get-together, I’ve got the perfect last minute cocktail to kick your hostess status up a notch. Meet the Blood Orange Sparkler. A little bit of citrus and a whole lotta class, it’s SUPER easy to whip up, leaving you plenty of time for mingling. You really can’t go wrong with bubbly. Wishing you all a happy 2014! Cheers!

- 1 oz. Grand Marnier
- San Pellegrino Sparkling Blood Orange Soda
- Champagne or Prosecco (anything bubbly will do!)
- 1. Pour Grand Marnier into a champagne flute.
- 2. Top with equal parts Blood Orange Soda and bubbly.
- 3. Garnish with sparkly flag* and cheers to the New Year!
- *This sparkly flag is a quick and easy DIY. Use glitter tape from Michael's and wooden skewers cut to fit your glass!
