It always excites me when I stumble upon the remainder of a home that I’ve drooled over a glimpse of in the past. You may remember this red and white living room from this post of yore. This home was originally built in the 1920’s and has been renovated to maintain its funky vibe while bringing the amenities up to date to suit a modern lifestyle. While the retro feel isn’t one I’m generally drawn to, to me this space to can no wrong. It could be the natural light flooding through the rooms, the unexpected stripes located throughout (hello awesome orange hallway), or the old school menus hung above the counter. Whatever it may be, I’m smitten.
On a totally unrelated and beyond random note, I’ve named my boyfriends dimple Eric. Yeah. Blonde hair, blue eyes, athletic build, dimple. Who does he think he is? All the same, Eric is a fine name for such a part of his face, methinks.
Also, last night we spent the evening at our apartment organizing and setting up our new furniture and filling our cupboards with our new dishes. So exciting!
