A Playful Yet Modern Family Friendly Home

There’s no question that my personal style tends to land on the more traditional meets feminine side (think: all things Nancy Meyers). But every now and again I stumble across a more modern project that simply tickles my fancy. This one, designed by Dama & Wood, feels like a modern home that I can absolutely get on board with.

I love that there are traditional elements infused into each space (hello beauty stove!), yet the layout, the large aluminum windows and scandi-influenced light fixtures feel intrinsically modern. Throw in some vintage rugs, sneaky arched niches, and unexpectedly playful wallpaper and you have a recipe for a modern home that feels anything but boring.
