As we inch closer to my daughter’s first birthday, I’m finally starting to feel more and more like myself (hurrah!) No matter how much I felt I had prepared myself, never in my life could I have anticipated the identity shift that came alongside becoming a mother. Throw in a worldwide pandemic and it’s been an interesting year to say the least. Don’t get me wrong, we’ve been faring really well all things considering, but I’d be lying if I said it was easy. Needless to say, both our home and my closet have taken a bit of a back seat.
