wearing: a well loved smash & tess romper
I hope you had an incredible holiday, and your New Year is off to a great start. In light of full discretion, I had every intention on hitting the ground running on all things blog front earlier this week, but life has been filled with beautiful madness as of late, and now that I’m officially in my third trimester of pregnancy I’m feeling the urge to go a lot slower these days… It’s definitely not like me to really hit the brake pedal, but prioritizing has had to be the name of my game, and I’ve been doing my best to give myself grace in this season of life. I really appreciate you for sticking around, for coming back day in and day out, and for all of the love and support you’ve shown me over the years (and especially lately).
It’s been so (so!) long since I’ve done a personal check in (anyone else miss my weekly Scenes from my Week posts? I always enjoyed those so much), so I thought I’d kick off the new year with a few behind the scenes peeks at what I’ve been up to on the personal front the last few months. It’s funny, if you were to ask me what I’ve been up to lately I would have likely told you a whole lot of sleep (seriously, my bed is my best friend these days!), but after putting this little highlight reel together I realize it’s also been filled with a whole ton of beautiful moments I’m incredibly grateful for.
I can’t wait to see what 2020 is going to bring – I have a very good feeling about it – and I have so many exciting things to share with you all in the coming months (like a baby!! and our nursery! and my new office! and a new website! and my mom’s kitchen renovation, which kicks off SO SOON I CAN’T STAND IT). At any rate, here are a few more things I’ve been up to…

This year we were at Blue Spirits which was equally as amazing,
but I believe it’s reserved for retreats only!

This is great! Thanks for sharing!! xoxo
Thanks Peg <3 Happy weekend!
So much fun going on with you! Looking forward to your posts after the baby comes. I enjoy your website.
Thank you so much, Lesley!
Have hubby take a shirt with the new baby’s scent home with him before you come home, and let the dog sniff it. When you then intro dog and baby it will already be somewhat familiar. Dogs meet and greet thru their noses, so this can help in pups adjustment. Best wishes to you and hubby.
This is a great tip, thank you! I’ve been nervous about how Sage is going to react – she’s been so wonderful, but she’s definitely in for a rude awakening when she realizes she isn’t going to be queen of the house for much longer haha
