Monday Musings

Monday Musings | lark & linenGuys! I’m back and it feels so so good. Our trip was amazing (I’ve shared a couple of sneak peeks on Instagram, but I do plan on doing full posts in the coming weeks), and I’m feeling refreshed and rejuvenated in all of the right ways. I can’t wait to get back to work, as I have a lot to share. In the meantime, here are a few links I’ve been loving lately…

:: On the menu this week: crispy smashed potatoes
:: These smart & easy cake hacks are making me want to bake
:: I loved Emily’s approach to finding balance with food & exercise
:: This sweater tank has been a workhorse in my closet this summer
:: The prettiest B&B popped up near my cottage, and I can’t get enough
:: Thank goodness mercury in retrograde is almost over (has it affected you at all?)
:: I picked up this beautiful tote before we left, and it was one of the best purchases I’ve made as of late

I love the colours in this kitchen!!!

  2. Welcome back! The Merrill House looks fantastic! As does your new tote!

Welcome back! Your previous post really resonated with me as the “social” aspect of blogging has left my mind spinning and exhausted I stepped back and took a break a couple months ago. I should mention I have only been blogging for about a year. The fact that you are 10 years in, and produce such high quality content (without much a break) all I can say is WOW you are amazing! I really enjoy your blog and your Canadian content.

    • This message meant so much, THANK YOU! It’s been a decade of a labour of love for sure. I really do LOVE this space, and I love sharing anything and everything, but the break was really nice. It gave me a bit of perspective and I am looking forward to making some small changes around here (with the hopes of much bigger and better things to come!)
