Currently Coveting: A Few Ways to Update My Home & Wardrobe For Spring

You guys, I ended up working late one evening earlier this week (something that I legitimately never do any longer) and the reason? It didn’t get dark until after 7:00 pm and I completely lost track of time as a result. I haven’t really noticed the days getting longer each day but that moment it really hit me. Spring is officially here. To say I’m excited would be the biggest understatement of them all. I’m dying to finalize all of our spring cleaning, organizing, and purging, and start getting our home ready for the warm months ahead. Per usual, following are a few things I have my eye on this month, which are all making me feel all the wonderful feels.

  1. That top photo with the black and white outfit is a vision of classy, casual simplicity. I was just deliberating what to do with some very pretty fabric. I want to make a summer dress, but I don’t have a pattern. A top like this one, worn with a loose, long skirt in the same fabric, would look like a dress when worn together or could also work separately.
You have solved my dilemma. Thank you for the inspiration!
