Client Reveal: The Prettiest Pink Bathroom

SHOP THE LOOK:

Alright you guys, I’ve been keeping this pretty pink bathroom reveal in my back pocket for a while now – please forgive me. I originally meant to post it before the holidays. And then again on Valentine’s day because, well, it felt super fitting what with all of its pretty pink details. But alas, life got in the way and this beauty of a project has kept taking a back seat. But no longer! Because I’ve been ITCHING to share it and the stars have finally aligned long enough for me to sit down and get it out there.

It belongs to one of the sweetest clients in the world, and is home to two darling little girls. And, in light of full discretion, I can’t take full credit for the designs as a lot of the beautiful details were in place when I began. It sits in the most stunning farmhouse a few hours north of Toronto, and it was a bit of a dream of a project to take on, for obvious reasons.

While many of the details in this space were on point from the beginning (hello, plumbing fixtures, you beautiful beautiful things!) there were a few moments that just didn’t feel quite right. Things like creamy wall tiles installed to a bit of an arbitrary height that simply didn’t flow quite as well as they should have. So my client called me in to help her solve the issues that had long been bothering her.

While we didn’t touch the location or layout of any of the fixtures in this pretty pink bathroom, we quickly got to work ripping out a lot of the existing details (namely: that tile), and instead installed wainscotting three feet up the wall. That alone instantly transformed everything – proof that these details really and truly do matter. In addition to wainscotting, we added a quartz backsplash to match the tub surround and baseboards (form & function at its best), and added the pretty filigreed detail for extra bonus points.

Some new mirrors, towel racks, art, a pretty vintage rug, and accessories, and with that we were off to the races, so to speak. I’m honestly thrilled with how it all came together, and knew that it needed to be seen by the masses. Here’s a closer peek at all of those pretty jewel-box details in this pretty pink bathroom.
