Scenes from My Week

wedding planning {finalizing wedding plans and decor}

When it rains, it pours, as the saying goes, and that couldn’t be more accurate right about now. I hate to be bellyaching once again as I know, in the grand scheme of things, that my issues are more or less minor at best. But I never want to pretend like everything is butterflies and roses around here when it really isn’t. There was definitely beauty to be had around here this week (there always is if you look hard enough), as evidence from these photos. But it’s definitely been a tougher one. I’ve undoubtedly been struggling since my grandpa passed away (you can read more about that here if you’d like). But sh*t seemed to hit the fan every which way this week. A couple of client projects have gone slightly awry. Communication hasn’t been great with a number of collaborations. And, to top it all off, Sage had to be rushed to the vet, and subsequently hospitalized, for a particularly terrible stomach bug. She is on the mend, thank goodness, but it’s all been quite stressful to say the least.

We’re headed to Thunder Bay this weekend to spend some time with family, and celebrate my Grandpa, which I’m really looking forward to. I’m also consciously changing my attitude and trusting that the universe has my back and this, too, shall pass. I hope you had a much better week than I did! As always, here are a few behind the scenes peeks…
