Scenes from my Holiday

goldendoodle

I can’t even begin to tell you how good it felt to unplug over the holidays. It’s the first real Christmas holiday I’ve taken in years, and I made sure to capitalize to the utmost extent. A few days after Christmas, our friends, who currently reside in Sweden but were home for the week, popped by and transformed our old, dated kitchen into a veritable Thai restaurant. My best friends fiancĂ© (an incredibly talented Michelin star chef), spent 8 hours teaching us how to cook proper Thai fare. The results were truly otherworldly – as in I legitimate have no real life words to describe the whole affair. It was hands down the best meal of my entire life, made even more so as it was enjoyed alongside 6 of my very favourite humans (and Sage was there, too!) One of those soul satisfying kind of days. Over a week later, I still can’t stop thinking about the whole thing in its entirety. You may have caught our holiday on Instagram stories, as I went a little nutty over there during the break, but if not, here’s a peek at the last few weeks in photos.

Tea and a dog what more do you need in a holiday? Looks absolutely glorious, thanks for sharing the snaps to give me a moment of escapism while I’m stuck in the office

I can just imagine how wonderful the dinner evening was! And honestly, one of these days we must meet up in the county for a delicious glass of wine :)
