Chocolate Lindor Bark

chocolate bark

Justin has mentioned a few times that he’s impressed with the number of childhood memories that I’m able to conjure up. I apparently have a boatload of them, but this one in particular ranks amongst my favourites… I vividly recall my grandpa surprising my grandma with 60 extra large Lindt bars, and 60 long stem roses on her 60th birthday… You see, my grandma is known for her sweet tooth, and is no stranger to hiding ginormous Lindt chocolate bars around the house. Perhaps it’s the chocoholic within me, but I knew, even then, that this was a sweet gesture on my grandpa’s behalf, and it has stuck with me ever since.

Although my grandma has never been known to hand out her secret Lindt chocolate all willy nilly, she was most definitely more than generous that year. Needless to say, I have a fondness for Lindt bars both for their quality, and the warm fuzzy feelings it brings up. It has always been my go-to when it comes to baking, as there’s no question that the success of your baked goods lies within the quality of your ingredients. I recently whipped up some Lindor chocolate bark from the Lindt the Season magazine, and I’m thrilled to share the super simple, totally festive, Lindor Bark recipe with you guys today.
