Scenes from my Vacation

IMG_2075{my aunt & uncle’s cottage, built in 1877, is the actual cutest}

When you run your own business there is legitimately never a good time to take a vacation. But maintaining some semblance of balance in my life has always been a priority of mine, so in the midst of the busiest month ever I decided to up and head to the cottage for a week with my family, and figure the rest out later. Truth: it was the best decision I ever made. When I arrived, I slept for almost 24 hours straight and it was glorious in every sense of the word. In retrospect, I’m pretty sure I was this far away from burning out, and a week filled with lake water and baby-niece-snuggles was just the ticket. And guess what? There was nothing that couldn’t be dealt with from afar (within the safety of my lakeside hammock) and business now continues as usual, hurrah!* Following are a few moments from a totally blissful few days.
