For a while, Justin and I had every intention on beginning our house hunt last September. Aaaand then I launched my business. And at that point it really didn’t make sense to get ourselves into something so financially demanding until my income became consistent once again. With our dream of home-ownership so close (yet so far, it seems), I regularly find myself fantasizing about the look and feel of our future abode. And though I have to admit said style/feel/aesthetic changes on the daily, right now this modern victorian home in upstate New York is it. It’s rich in history, full of life, comes complete with sky-high ceilings and, paired with classic mid-century modern finds, boasts a hint of unexpected contrast I so often crave.
