{beautiful blooms from Sweet Woodruff}
I’m sure I’m not alone when I say that this summer was borderline a write off. With an assortment of to-do’s on the schedule most every weekend, we were left with very little time to drink in the long, leisurely days that summer typically promises to bring. And though there was an undeniable crispness in the air this past weekend, it felt like the universe was giving us our much-needed summer hurrah. One final set of days to allow us to bid the season adieu as the weather shifts, the leaves fall and riding boots emerge. Not only did we put all our responsibilities aside to celebrate our 8 year anniversary (what!) but we also headed outside the city to spend the evening at a friend’s farm. She hosted her first annual barn party – complete with a bouncy castle, body painter and full blown DJ booth, as you do – and kicking back, tent popped up nearby, surrounded by the best of the best, was just what the doctor ordered. Fall, I’m ready for ya!
{because I got my hair blown out for the first time and that swoop needed to be documented}
