This frozen chocolate cheesecake right here? It’s my kryptonite. Ask anyone. You cannot leave me alone in a room with it as I will devour the ENTIRE thing. This is the cake that my mom whips up for me every year for my birthday, without fail. If I’m being totally honest, she actually makes two. One to share with whomever is at the table when the candles are blown out, and one for me to take home and hoard for myself (I’m not even the slightest bit ashamed, and I very rarely share the second). Up until recently, I never asked her for the recipe for two reasons. Number one: for the sake of my health, I should not be in possession of this knowledge. And number two, saving it for my birthday, and my birthday only, ensures that it remains special. That said, I’ve wanted to share it with you guys for a while now because it’s that. damn. good.
