Scenes from my Weekend

High-Tea
{high tea at the Windsor Arms}

To be totally honest, I didn’t have huge expectations for this weekend. Justin left on Thursday evening for a few days away with the guys, and I didn’t really have any major plans in store. As it turns out, an epic weekend happened to be on the horizon without my knowing it. I ended up visiting a friend and her 2 week old baby (oh you better believe the baby fever is in full force), my best friend took me out for belated birthday high tea, I celebrated my cousins upcoming nuptials at her bridal shower, AND I discovered the most insanely delicious soup in the entire world (recipe to come!). In addition? A trip we’ve been planning for a very long time is finally coming to fruition. On Saturday, my mom, brother and I booked our flights to South Africa for New Years. Excited? That doesn’t even BEGIN to cover it.
