scenes from my weekend.

Four things to note:

1. I started my herb garden! I just hope that it takes. Our apartment faces north-west, and I’m not sure they will get enough direct sunlight… Does anybody with a green thumb have any suggestions?! I did my research but I’m very new at this.
2. A fresh avocado spread on toast with salt, cracked black pepper and melted sharp cheddar is a wonderful breakfast alternative.
3. Carole’s Cheesecake is pretty, but their New York cheesecake is not entirely worth the calories (please refer to my Life Rules).
4. At certain times of the year, the fields we pass on the way to visit my grandparents are neon green.
