This Is Definitely My Biggest News Yet…

I feel like I’ve written this post in my brain a million times over, but now that I’m officially here I’m at a complete loss of words… After a year of trying, I’m so excited to announce that Justin and I are going to be welcoming a tiny little baby-shaped nugget into our family.

This has been the hardest secret I’ve ever had to keep, especially because I’ve become so accustomed to putting just about all of it out there for the past decade. This past year has most definitely been a journey, filled with the highest of highs and the lowest of lows. It’s one that I’m excited to delve into further as we go. To say that we are grateful would be the biggest understatement of them all. However, I feel like it wouldn’t be right to post this without recognizing the women I met (and haven’t met, but I see you) along the way. If you, too, are on a similar journey, and are struggling in any capacity, please know that you are most definitely not alone. I know these sort of posts can be triggering, but I hope that our story, as I begin to unravel it, helps you in even the tiniest of ways. I see you. I feel you. I’m thinking of you with all of my heart.

I’m so excited for this next chapter of our lives, and while I promise this will not become a baby blog (not by any stretch of the imagination), I really and truly love documenting bits and pieces of my life and cannot wait to take you along, here and there, for the ride. 

I’ll be putting together a bit of a q&a post that will go up next week, wherein I’ll share a little more about what we’ve been through the last year, and I’m also happy to answer any questions you may have! I’m an open book with just about anything and everything, so please let me know if there was anything specific you wanted me to address.
