When working within the constraints of a condo, creativity becomes essential. For Project Hanna, luxury small bathroom design was all about subtle architectural shifts that made a world of difference. Since we couldn’t move plumbing (condo life!), we kept the existing layout but elevated every last inch.
We removed the drop ceiling, instantly doubling the perceived height of the space. A stunning 9’ custom arched metal door now draws your eye inward, acting as both a functional entry and an architectural focal point. A custom walnut vanity, with reeded gables and a chunky marble counter, feels grounded and rich, while the dreamy marble floor tile, laid in a modern yet timeless pattern, adds just enough movement without stealing the show.
We opted for a walk-in shower in lieu of a tub, and exposed Waterworks plumbing (complete with a vintage-inspired shower head) gives it a heritage feel that’s grand but never over-the-top.
The result? A warm, layered, luxury small bathroom design that feels so much larger than it is.

Love this bathroom transformation!!! LOVE!!!
Why was the drop ceiling there? What was inside the drop ceiling?
Nothing!! It was totally empty. So bizarre. The builder likely just wanted to save $ on wall tiles
Absolutely beautiful!
Thank youso much!
