When working with a small condo den design, the key is to think vertically. In Project Hanna, we couldn’t alter the footprint—since relocating the bathroom adjacent wasn’t an option—but that didn’t mean we couldn’t make the space feel elevated and intentional.
We started by increasing the door heights to better suit the soaring 14’ ceilings, instantly giving the space a more proportional feel. But the real star of the show? A custom-built bunk bed setup that makes the most of every inch. Designed with integrated nightstands, hidden storage (including drawers tucked below the bunks!), and built-in electrical components, it’s the ultimate cozy retreat. And while it didn’t make the final photos, we also outfitted a custom closet (tucked just out of view) to store anything you could possibly need. Small but mighty was the name of the game here, and I love how it came together.
