One of my interior design trend predictions for 2024 was “bold stripes” and, now that we’re halfway through the year, I’m very happy to report that I was bang on (pats self on back). I’m noticing them pop up left, right, and center lately, and I, for one, am not mad about it. Whether it’s a tiled bathroom, a wallpapered living room, or an upholstered sofa, bold stripes are having a moment—and it’s a really lovely one.
While I like to keep my finger on the pulse of interior design trends, I always prefer to focus on ones that I feel are rooted in timelessness. Bold stripes are a classic design detail that’s definitely at the forefront of the design world right now, but I feel confident this trend will remain timeless for years to come.
