I find the older I get, the more appreciation I have for classic design sensibilities. Dentelle mouldings, generous baseboards, curved staircases, and hand painted wallpaper never fail to set my heart aflutter. And this Prospect Park home, designed by Workstead, boast all of that and more. I’m particularly drawn to the introduction of more modern elements (hello kitchen!) which creates just the right amount of contrast and tension (you’ll see what I mean).
