Christmas home decor, it’s no secret that I have a bit of an infatuation for it at this point. And this Christmas home tour is filled with so many beautiful simple, yet impactful, ideas. I mean, the pine bough atop the kitchen pendant? Adorable! I have to admit, I’ve only recently discovered this homeowner’s blog, but it didn’t take long for me to fall head over heels and quickly discover what all of the fuss is about.
Jamie has talent as far as the eye can see, and her pages are an absolute treasure trove of beauty. Needless to say, when I stumbled upon her home all dressed up for Christmas I wasn’t surprised to love every last ounce. The subtle festive cheer sprinkled throughout is enough to help grow even the Grinchiest of hearts, and I know I for one am taking notes. I encourage you to sit back, blast some holiday music, and enjoy every effortless moment of it.

Good Morning❣️ Well, Happy Holidays 🎄This is a lovely example of tasteful minimalist holiday decor. I L😍VE Christmas decor, my fams epically large home, I would decorate in a Uber maximalist style. My mother and I would shop and shop. Trees in every room, decorated and themed garlands on the huge banks of windows. The mantal in the formal living room was over a foot deep and 11 ft ceilings allowed for a lot. The home is gone now, my mother died this year. My mother was the 3rd generation to own/inherit the home.
That all being said, in my home, I was decorating in the same maximalist style. My daughter has been complaining of how claustrophobic it was. This year, I tried a more minimalistic approach and left a lot of decor in their boxes. That’s hard for me and sometimes I think of something I miss that is still in the box but stop myself from getting it out. I’m rambling….sigh
