If you’ve been around here for any length of time, you may have noticed that I have a slight allergy to colour. I can appreciate it from afar, don’t get me wrong, but when designing for myself or my clients, I typically prefer all things neutral with just a whisper of a strategically placed hue or two. Needless to say, it takes a lot for me to get on board with colourful interiors. But when I stumbled upon this emerald green kitchen, designed by Gibbs Design & Build, I let out an audible gasp. It’s absolutely stunning in it’s own right and, balanced by a largely neutral palette throughout the rest of the home, it has me rethinking my whole schtick.
