The Best Little White Dresses

In light of full discretion, Justin and I never really envisioned ourselves having a big wedding – not by any stretch of the imagination. In truth, we’ve pretty much ditched almost everything quintessentially “bride and groom” because most of it just doesn’t feel like us. The reality is we just want to be married, and in our minds the wedding is just a bonus. But now that it’s quickly approaching, I find myself really leaning into the whole journey – and I may even be a little sad when it’s through…

My aunts legitimately forced me to have a shower over the weekend, and I’m honestly so glad that they did. Spending an afternoon sipping tea in a room full of almost every woman I adore was pretty special. And shopping for my little white dress was arguably more fun (and a whole lot less pressure) than finding my wedding dress. It wasn’t easy – I will admit there are a lot of pretty terrible little white dresses out there.
