A Mountain Home All Decked for Christmas

Holiday+Mantel+Decor SHOP THE LOOK:

You know, my parents tried to encourage me to ski a few times when I was little, with absolutely zero luck. I mean, I was no dummy. I knew that the best part of any ski trip was hunkering down in front of the fire in the lodge, hot cocoa in hand for good measure. And had you asked me a week ago, I would have told you childhood me had beaten the system, as I consistently just went straight to the goods upon arrival.

But then I stumbled upon this mountain home tour, all decked to the nines for Christmas. And it wasn’t until this very instant that I’ve had any regrets with regards to my lack of ski-skills. Because herein lies the problem: you can’t really justify a mountain home, unless you’re a bit of a snow bunny. And all of a sudden, I really need a mountain home – especially at Christmas. One peek at this insanely good beauty, by Studio McGee, and I’m confident you’ll see why.

  4. […] Don’t forget to change up your open shelving seasonally! Add some evergreen boughs for Christmastime. Display a pumpkin in the Fall. Bring out your lemonade pitcher in Summer. Switch out vases of flowers in Spring. Make your shelving reflect the seasonal decor in the rest of your home. […]

May I ask, what is the manufacturer/designer of the grey upholstered chairs with the wood frame that extends at an angle out from the back? Those are beautiful and exactly what I’ve been looking for!
