You’d think that since living in a large, bustling, metropolis myself, New York City wouldn’t feel all that special – but there’s something scintillating about the place that’s hard to put into words. There’s a palpable energy that beats through the streets – you can feel it the moment you land, and it’s veritably intoxicating. While the shopping scene is wonderful (both on the fashion and decor front), this time it was the food that stole the show. Apart from seeing the city from the “top of the rock”, we skipped the touristy bits this round and really just focused on meandering as we saw fit. Amidst our four day jaunt, we ate the most delicious brunch at Buvette, found out what the hype was about at both Levain and People’s Pops, we wined and dined at Balthazar, and we took in a hilarious show at Comedy Cellar (of which I can’t recommend highly enough). Here’s a peek, in photos.
