Inspiration: All The Beautiful Gardens

Inspiration: Beautiful Gardens | lark & linen

Alright you guys, spring fever is officially in full force, and with it comes my daydreaming about all things exterior. We’ve done a little bit of work in our yard over the last couple of years, and after years of condo living I’m forever grateful for an outdoor space of our own, but I must admit that it could definitely use some serious attention. While I’m not sure that this will be the year of updating our curb appeal (we kind of have other priorities at the moment :), I’ve been saving pretty exteriors and beautiful garden inspiration for a while now and it just didn’t feel right to keep em’ to myself. Following are a few ideas I’m currently lusting over.

Thank you for sharing your inspiration pics. I’ve pinned several myself.
Can I suggest a pergola? They add dimension to your space. If I never sat out under mine, I would still want it. It looks beautiful covered in wisteria and fairy lights at night are magical.
I’ve kept my garden to mostly white flowering shrubs. I like the calmness of a single colour.
And, I planted trees with interesting bark for some winter colour – a coral bark maple that has lovely reddish branches that stand out against the green hedge surrounding my yard. A pealing bark that has that raggedy bark adds texture.
I’ll be interested to see what you pull from your inspiration pictures.

  2. […] Wait until you see these garden spaces. […]
