If California interior design had a poster child, I’m convinced it would be Julia Hunter’s sun-soaked LA home. Designed in collaboration with the Jenni Kayne team (a forever fave), it’s bright and fresh and quietly layered; one of those homes that feels both elevated and entirely livable.
There’s a soulfulness to the space that I just can’t quit. Natural textures meet clean lines. Every corner feels thoughtful, yet nothing is too precious. I love how the palette whispers rather than shouts; white oak, creamy walls, linen everything, and how it all feels intentionally undone.
It’s the kind of home that makes you want to host a slow Sunday brunch or curl up with a tea and a good read. And isn’t that the goal? To create spaces that welcome life in?
If California interior design is your thing (guilty), you’re going to want to take a peek at this one.

Can you tell me all about the couch shown in first photos ( small size – bench seat)…is it the 72 inch Jenni Kayne harbor sofa and what is the fabrication and color. Thank you. Shirley
