Scenes from my Week

goldendoodle haircut
After what feels like months of dismal weather, the sun finally showed its glorious face for multiple days in a row this week. It was just the little boost of energy I needed to help power me through. Between a client install that went off without a hitch, an exciting brewery opening party in Thornbury, our big One Room Challenge reveal (which you can see here, if you missed it)  and a handful of project presentations (that included lots of tile and fabric sourcing  – my favourite), it’s safe to say this week was incredibly productive, and equally fulfilling. That said, I’m very much looking forward to a few low key days that include planting flowers in our window boxes, and spoiling my mom to a delicious brunch. As always, here’s a peek at the rest of my week in photos. Happy weekend, friendlies!

What a cutie Sage is! We have a mini doodle and I know what you mean – after a cut, they look like a totally different dog! The shorter hair is so much easier to brush and keep tangle free, but I do love the shaggy look as well. :) Just a heads up: if you plan to have her go in water in the summer, keep her hair short! We learned the hard way that the hair gets mats really quickly if it’s long when they are swimming lots.

    • Oh, that’s good to know! We’re headed up to the cottage this weekend and it will be her first time swimming – I have a feeling she’s going to love it. I do appreciate the (much) lower maintenance of this new do
