I’m a big believe in quality over quantity, and if I’m going to indulge in a dessert of some variety, low-calorie is not what I’m after. But whoever said you can’t have your cake and eat it too was sorely mistaken when it comes to Broma Bakery’s honey lavender popsicles… At just 67 calories a piece they’ll go easy on your summer bod, and you’ll never even know you were making any sort of sacrifice in the dessert eating category.

At 67 calories each you can indulge without overdoing it
In a small saucepan over low heat, mix together the milk, honey and lavender flowers. Stir occasionally until heated through. Remove from heat and let cool completely (30 minutes or so).
Strain mixture through a fine sieve to remove the lavender flowers.
Stir yogurt into the mixture. To add colour, stir in a few drops of red and blue food coloring (optional).
Pour into popsicle molds, freeze and enjoy!
