While the weather around here has been unseasonably warm lately (hi, understatement of the century!), I still find myself craving those cosy fall vibes. All things apple and spice are the name of my game these days, and I’m not even sorry. I’m hosting a few of my industry friends for dinner this weekend, and thought it’d be fun to create a seasonally inspired beverage that we could all enjoy upon their arrival. I’ve tasked myself with the gruelling duty of coming up with something fabulous and this caramel apple cocktail recipe quickly became the clear winner. The best part? It can be served hot or cold, depending on what mother nature has in store for us (and it looks particularly festive served in a copper mug).
In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, shake all ingredients vigorously. Pour in your favourite tumbler, over ice. Garnish with a slice of apple
THE WARM VERSION
Heat the apple juice to a simmer. Place the vodka and liquor in prepared glass and pour hot apple juice overtop. Stir and garnish with a fresh apple slice.
