Every once in a while I find myself in a bit of an inspiration rut. There’s no question that there are an infinite number of incredible home tours that exist out there, but lately I’ve been feeling less than inspired by many of the ones that I’ve stumbled upon. Whether it’s a wall colour that just doesn’t feel quite right, or a drapery panel that’s hovering a little too high for my liking, I’ve been extra nit-picky as of late… It doesn’t occur often, but unfortunately it was the case this week while I was hunting for a space to share for this column. That is, until I checked in with one of my favourite sources. In truth, I can always count on Kate Marker to reinvigorate my design sensibilities when I’m feeling rut-like, and this stunning home tour is of no exception. It’s soft and pretty, effortlessly tailored, and picture perfect in every way.

All that white is so zen and bright.
Right?! I’m craving all that natural light – the days have been so grey here lately
