Inspired by my sweet friend over at Oh So Pretty, I thought I’d try my hand at my own version of a rose body scrub. With my upcoming vacation (and the warm weather that promises to be right around the corner), I’ve come to the realization that old man winter has not been kind to my poor skin. It’s rough and dry and anything but ready to be exposed to the masses. Enter: this scrub. It smells delicious, it does it’s job in a quick minute, and it can be made with ingredients you likely already have on hand. Plus, the fact that you make it yourself means you know just what’s going in it – all natural, all day long. That right there is what you’d call a no brainer!

. 3/4 cup coarse sea salt
. 1 Tbsp himalayan sea salt (it’s pink!)
. 1/4 cup coconut oil
. rose petals from 1 rose
. A few drops rose essential oil, to your preference
. printable labels
. 1 500mL jar
1. In a small bowl, mix together all ingredients. If coconut oil is solid, warm it just until it becomes liquid. Let it cool to room temperature before adding it to the mixture.
2. Pour all ingredients into your jar (including rose petals!)
3. Print out labels, cut them out along the dotted line and spray glue to jar
4. Enjoy, or make new friends by giving it out as a gift!
